About Us

First, a little site history. We were first alerted to the amazingness of Hleb after playing on FIFA 06, and Hleb and Mart “penetrated the defence” time and time again, admittedly against Tom’s Middlesbrough, but it was impressive all the same.

Then, during GCSE ICT, Tom and Mart registered the site on Geocities, and began to build up the website that you see before you.

During A-Levels, we improved, using html coding on the site instead of Yahoo Pagebuilder, and hosting with Bravehost instead of Yahoo. Then, when they decided to spam our site without warning, we left, and across to Awardspace.

Staying at Awardspace until October 2007, we received an email from Arsenal informing us that we were infringing copyright, and should stop immediately. With the re-design of the site, and Tom still not understanding xhtml, we decided to move to Wordpress, where we are today. Meanwhile, the situation with Arsenal has since died down, since they no longer return our emails.

Its a nice distraction. It is a joint project, Tom tends to work on the actual content of the site, and researching extra information on Hleb, (though recently he has began to make an effort to understand HTML), while Mart does all the formatting, and HTML encoding, as well as the Graphics. He’s the one responsible for nice banners and links menus.

The latest major update was completed around October 2007 as we moved across to Wordpress.

Please, take a look around the site, let us know what you think by dropping us an email. Finally, always remember to look out for Hleb on a weekend, as he turns out for Arsenal in the Barclays Premiership.

If you find any broken links, or other problems, or would just like to contact us for anymore information feel free to email us. Also if you use any of the information or pictures on this site, be sure to email us, and credit us for doing so.

Tom: ownedbyhleb@yahoo.co.uk

As of yet, we are unaware if Aliaksandr Hleb has seen this site, but if you ever meet him, encourage to take a look. Thanks.
