I know I should probably leave the site alone, and concentrate on my A-Level revision, but hey, its too late now anyway. As well as the major updates listed below, I was experimenting with skinning, and I have made some OwnedbyHleb skins for the Sims 2. Further Details, Download links, and Screen Shots can be found on my page. Just follow the link to "Mart's Page", from the About Us page.

As far as updates go, well, this is a big one. The whole site has been re wrote in PHP, which, to you, will have no difference whatsoever. However, Server Side, it means that it much easier to update. Previously, updating could mean having to change several pages at once, but now that I finally learnt PHP, it will be so much easier. Yes, anyway, it was major for me to do, because I had to pretty much re build the site from scratch. Now the only way to test if I had done it correctly was to upload it all and hope for the best. So, off I went, to FTP, deleted the site, and uploaded all my newly written PHP. Easy. Until I actually opened the site to check if my hard work had paid off... And BAM!

"PHP vital function; failed to load ()include path /home/www/ownedbyhleb/"

Simply line after line of PHP errors. Oops. I forgot to back up the site before uploading. =| At this point I thought about walking away, and I was thinking "why did I ever bother with PHP". However, after a few minutes of moving files to root, and changing around some back slashes to forward slashes it worked. PHP is just very specific, so don't make any mistakes.

Well, like I said earlier, You wont notice a thing. The pages all look the same as they used to, and the same content is on them. (I think I have finally conquered my habit of a full site redesign every week). Although, the most observant of you will notice that the pages now end in .php, not in .html. So the effort I put in will pretty much go unnoticed. Although it makes it much easier to update, so Tom, you have no excuses now!

As well as PHP, we now have a custom google search box. This is used to search within the site, and it won't even take you away from the site, as the results are still located Sever Side, so yeah, I hope you make use of it, its quite a nice feature.

And finally, you may have noticed the "Style" option on the sidebar. Choose a colour from the list and, in no time at all, new colours. It even saves your choice so every time you come back its the same colour. The only downside is the games are only available in the original (Red) colour scheme.

Well thats it for updates, and the longest "blog" I've written. Albeit, this is not technically a blog. I should put the site as being in beta stage, as it was me that re done the site in PHP, so there's bound to be some errors. If you do find any, just drop me an email. Reorganised the link bar for today, just a couple of minor things. I also added a small amount of text to the home page as well, nothing major. I'm planning to revamp the text on the homepage, and the "Virtual Hleb" page when I get chance.

Welcome to Owned By Hleb!

As you can probably tell its been quite a while since the last update. If fact, more than a month. Apologies for this but we are busy people!

As for actual updates, we have added a news page, for all the latest Hleb news, and all the site news can be found in the feed or the text only version. Also added is the new "Owned by Hleb" page. As we have had many people asking us "What is Hleb?" and "How do i get Owned By Hleb?" we set this page up in an attempt to answer all your questions, and get us some free advertising in the process. Oh, and Owned By Hleb FC's second game was cancelled.

Hope fully Tom will update the text on the front page sometime soon, because thats getting a little dated. Well stay tuned and expect future updates. And YES!, We know the Guestbook doesn't work. Its getting worked on, but I don't know PHP that well.

Welcome to Owned By Hleb!

Well March has arrived, as has another layout for the website. I changed it again, as the last layout had some issues in other browsers (such as Firefox and Opera), as well as compatability issues with other versions of IE. The new layout has fully valid CSS layout, and is XHTML 1.0 compliant, on all but one page (Videos). All of the games are still on the old skin, but this will be fixed soon. The site map has finally been updated to have the same layout as all the other pages. We have created a news archive for all our Hleb News, as well as one for the site updates.

This should remain the website skin for the foreseeable future, as I think I am finally happy with the site. Although given a few weeks it will probably change again.

Hello And Welcome to Owned By Hleb!

Well this week has seen an overhaul of the whole Hleb site. We have another "skin" (yet again). I really should stop messing with the layout of the site, and settle on one I like. Well this one will have to do for now, until I get bored next week and make another one!

Anyway, as for actual updates, we now have a Myspace and a YouTube page. As well as those, don't forget about the Shop. Remember all these links are in the navigation at the top, so you shouldn't struggle to find them.

This week also saw the removal of the forum. Our original forum, hosted on forumer has been completly deleted, as well the forum which was on awardspace for a small amount of time. This is due to MySQL errors beyond our control.

Well anyway, have fun, and I hope you enjoy the new layout! If you find any problems don't hesitate to email me.

I've made a couple of minor adjustments to the At Arsenal page, which is now fully up-to-date, and his scoring record is now in table form. It won't mean much to you, but it means its a lot easier for us to update, and looks a bit neater.

I'll be doing the same to the Statistics page, but we have encountered a couple of coding errors on those pages which we can't currently get round. Fixing one problem simply creates another 10 at the moment.

We were pleased to hear that Alex is back training, and should be playing for Arsenal again soon.

Don't forget the shop, and if you can contact Hleb on our behalf, please let us know.

Hello, and welcome to OwnedbyHleb!

I say, I am really pleased with the new site layout, which is finally finished. All the pages are fully updated into the skin, so I hope you all like it. In addition I have made a new index page, however the webring doesn't seem to want to line up with the rest of the page. This is only a minor problem, but its these kind of small things that annoy me. I'll try to sort this out soon, but at the moment im just checking to make sure the new skin is fully working. If you do find any problems just drop me an email.

Well as for general news. The skin is the main thing I've been working on, but there have been some minor updates, such as the new videos we've uploaded. Also, be sure to check out the forums, as we are still receiving new members, who are posting. In other news, we do have an idea in the pipeline, which will possibly be implimented in the near future. Basically, as you know, we sell merch (see shop link), and we are thinking of asking people to pose with there Hleb merchandise, and whoever sends us the best photograph will we in a prize. As this is very preliminary there is no word on the prize. Stay tuned for further updates.

All seems to be going well, but with the new skin, there are several small things I've missed out. Things such as the donate button, and the site stats. Firstly, to donate simply email us, and we will contact you with further details. Secondly, the site stats. Im thinking of adding the link to the index page, and I most likely will have done that, by the time you are reading this. Also, don't forget you can Affiliate with us. Simply send us your banner, and as long as you link to us, we'll happily add you to our Affiliates page. This week seen the addition of a new Affiliate, namely a Tomas Rosicky fan site. Be sure to check it out. Stick around and look out for further updates!

Hey, and welcome to OwnedbyHleb!

Tom again, 2 blogs in a week, pretty damn impressive for me. I'm also going to try and get back on top of keeping this site up to date, and I'm going to try and help Mart with a bit more of the coding while we're 'decorating'.

As you can tell, we have been doing work, and when I first saw this, I was pretty gobsmacked myself. Massively different to what it was, but it does give the site a much more professional feel. Of course, we're probably breaking copyright of some sort, but we're fairly sure we're not.

So, to anyone who hasn't visited before, welcome to the growing world of OwnedbyHleb. Although most people will only ever need to visit this site a few times, its well worth a visit. We have great games on the site which I can personally guarantee will play on your work or school PC without being blocked, and we have regular updates from Arsenal.com about how Alex's season is doing.

Also, we have our merchandise up and running, which is always a great talking point, and we hope to add more items as soon as we have cleared some issues between ourselves, Spreadshirt, and hopefully Hleb himself. Its inspiring to see people wear the shirt without being forced into it.

My final point today is that we are looking to eventually meet the man himself, Aliaksandr Hleb, though how that will happen we don't yet know. Sadly, he won't be coming up to the Riverside, which would have been easiest for us, so if you think you could help, let us know. We're hoping to raise enough money through either the shop or donations to get to London and meet him. If you think you can help, then do contact us.

Finally, if you do ever meet Hleb, point him in our direction.

Hey, Welcome to the NEW LOOK OwnedbyHleb site. I've been thinking about updating to a more professional image for a while now, bit it took sometime to make. My Phototshop skills were up to it a few months ago, but with trial and error I eventuall made the new "skin" for the site.

Not all the pages have the new look, but they will be done soon. This is technically still Beta testing for the site, as its been completely re wrote, with Cascading Stylesheets, instead of font tags.

Expect the remaining pages to be updated in the near future.

Hey, Welcome to OwnedbyHleb. My first post round here for a while, but I have been working, Hlb statistics page is up to date, and we finally have the Russian writing working on his biography page.

I've also sorted out a few issues with the shop, so all the items should be back up within a few days. Tomorrow, if al goes well.

Sadly, Aliaksandr was injured the other week, and he'll be out for about four weeks, but we're hoping that this'll give him a bit of time to come and look at the site Keep visiting, and buy something from the shop.

Hello there, and welcome to Owned By Hleb

As you may have noticed, our site got flooded with ads, and has subsequently be removed from Brave Host. You can still reach us through the .co.nr domain, but we now are hosting with Award Space instead.

We strongly recommend that you do not host with Bravehost, who just sprung ads on us without warning.

Well, as for actual site updates. We are fully W3 verified, and we've now got new hosts (again!). With our new hosts they dont seem to like our Affiliates page, so that has had to be linked to Brave Host, so we apolgise for the ads on that page. We're working on getting rid of them.

Dont forget our updates are now in a feed, which you're currently reading. Be sure to subscribe!

Hello, and a big hello to all our new American Visitors! Not really an update today, just to say we've become increasingly popular, particularly amongst the Americas.

Im considering maing a "Link to Us" page, so you can spread the links all around! As our Year Anniversary is coming up soon, look out for our new updates. We have had the stats for 3 days, and as you can see they make some good reading. We've smashed our highest monthly views, in a little under 3 days. So look our for the new updates, and don't forget we're a year old on the 28th!

And don't forget about the forums, which have somewhat ressurected recently. All is going well, and we have time to concentrate on the updates, with end of our AS exams!

Hello! Just a small update today. As part of the new updates for the Hleb site, we have decided to make a monthly newsletter, about Hleb, and any other important news. The sign up box is below the links, over there on the left. Feel free to sign up. I also updated my "About Me" section, on the "About Us" page. Oh and I added site stats, which is the little planet thingy, at the bottom of the page.

Dear Visitor, Welcome to the New Year, and the OwnedbyHleb site. Over the next couple of weeks, you can expect the updates to falter slightly, purely because we now have exams. Since A-Levels are considerably harder than GCSE however, we are prioritising this time. My failed ICT GCSE is proof that I did little work.

As the exams finish, we will againt be trying to boost the site as we reach 1 year of OwnedbyHleb, hopefully by smashing our highest monthly views record.

Hopefully we can boost visitors to our site in 2007.

Dear Visitor,

Well its coming up to the year anniversary of OwnedbyHleb. Its been an eventful year. What started off as a distraction from ICT, and some major FIFA ownage resulted in a quite good website. Its a shame that we still haven't beaten our highest monthly views. Back in Febuary we had well over 150 views.

Im aware its was product of our mass advertising, but the site is so much better now, than it was back then, games, the forum, the animated links...

I sometimes wonder whether the effort is nesscessary. The forums have all but dried up. No one visits the site anymore. Is it worth the effort? Especially since there seems to be me only doing the updates.

Well anyway, I have got some good from the site. I have learnt more HMTL and a bit of Javascript, and I have got better on Photoshop.

Argh. Anyway.
